On 8 March 2024, the Director of the Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), Mr. Amri Bukhairi Bakhtiar, had a courtesy call on H.E. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia. Being the first development partner for IMT-GT, both sides exchanged views on strengthening collaboration between IMT-GT and India through increased political engagement, working-level coordination, and implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
